One of the best kept secrets about our proprietor, Bernie Shine, is that he is a magician, who often performed in the close-up room of the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and in many other venues. His artist friend, the late Igor Edleman, gave Bernie the original of this classic poster painted by Mr. Edleman and inspired by the 1920s poster of magician "Alexander."
