Comic Character Iron-Ons (1940s)

This is vintage iron-on transfer from the 1940s, printed on tissue paper. It features "Our Bill" and "Penny," two comic strip charaters created by cartoonist Harry Haenigsen in 1939 and 1943 respectively. They can be transfered onto a garment such as a t-shirt by simply placing the images face down on the clothing and applying them using a hot iron to the back of the paper. Each image is 3" long.
