El Ranch Vegas Fake $1000 Bill (1941-60)

The El Rancho Vegas was the first hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Located at the southwest corner of Sahara and Las Vegas Boulevard, it opened on April 3, 1941, and operated for 19 years until it was destroyed by a fire on June 17, 1960. This is a fake $1000 bill, a souvenir of this iconic location. (Photo shows both sides of the bill.) Here’s an opportunity to own a piece of Las Vegas history for a very modest price of just $7.50 each. (Please be sure to see our other El Rancho Vegas items.)
